This year’s edition of Streat Helsinki focuses on sustainability and seasonal thinking. These same themes are re-evaluated and discussed on Thursday 17 March and Friday 18 March in the Streat Helsinki MASTERS evenings, where street food talk turns into a communal cooking and dining experience.
The star of the night, as announced by Swedish MASTERS chef Martin Sjöstrand, is the cauliflower. Martin steers the ingredient-driven restaurant Hörte Brygga together with his wife in the little port of Dybäck near the city of Ystad. The couple set up their own restaurant in the Southern Swedish countryside to be amongst the best producers in the country. For the MASTERS evening, Martin will prepare five distinct cauliflower dishes, with five distinct preparation styles.
