The 2016 events kick off on Thursday 17 March and Friday 18 March with the Streat Helsinki MASTERS evenings. The concept of street food is deconstructed and rearranged with the guidance of interesting Finnish and international culinary visionaries. MASTERS dives into conversations on the topics of the evening, the fine touches of preparation and finally a communal dinner – made and enjoyed by the participants.
The star of the Thursday night, as announced by Swedish MASTERS chef Martin Sjöstrand, is the cauliflower. Martin steers the ingredientdriven restaurant Hörte Brygga together with his wife in the little port of Dybäck near the city of Ystad. The couple set up their own restaurant in the Southern Swedish countryside to be amongst the best producers in the country. For the MASTERS evening, Martin will prepare five distinct cauliflower dishes, with five distinct preparation styles.
The evenings take place at the Mothership of Work co-working hub. The spots costs 30 euros, including the master class and the dinner. To registrate, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, there are seats for 30 participants a night.
More info on the Friday night will follow soon.
